LANCASTER - It can't continue to go this way.

No way.

It's only a matter of time before the Marauder baseball team lost its 10th game in 12 games, this time to Taft College, Saturday afternoon at Marauder Stadium.

Being at home certainly hasn't been a blessing for the Marauders as they are 2-11 at Marauder Stadium. AVC is playing much better on the road with a 4-4 record away from home.

AVC played even with Taft for seven innings with the score tied 1-1 heading into the eighth. That's when the Cougars exploded for five runs to take control of the game.

The Marauders were held to only six hits, two coming off the bat of Arturo Sanchez. John Serrato had the lone RBI for AVC.
