MARAUDER MEN'S VOLLEYBALL WINS FIRST SET, LOSES THREE STRAIGHT

SAN DIEGO - The Marauder men's volleyball team opened its match against San Diego Miramar by easily taking the first set, however, AVC was swept in the next three losing to SD-Miramar, 18-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-20, Wednesday evening.

The Marauders had their best hitting game in the second (.550) on 13 kills on 20 attacks, but SD-Miramar was able to hold on for the set to even the match, 1-1.

Matthew Lee led AVC with 10 kills and five service aces. Joey Medina finished with 33 assists and five kills. Kevin Moore and Justin Humphrey finished with eight and six kills respectively.
