LANCASTER - The Marauder softball team pounded out 15 more hits in an easy 11-3 victory against Bakersfield College, Thursday afternoon at Antelope Valley College.

Justeene Tamayo and Naelyse Garcia each homered in the bottom of the fifth inning helping lead the Marauders' offense. AVC leads the state in total home runs hit with 30.

Garcia had one of her best pitching outings of the season as she pitched six strong innings, allowing only four hits and one earned run.

The Renegades gained a bit of confidence as they took a 3-0 lead before the Marauders scored 11 unanswered. Garcia helped herself out at the plate going 3-for-3 including the fifth inning home run and a double with three RBI.

Every player in the lineup for AVC had at least one hit.
