VALLEY GLEN - Everything is clicking for the Marauder softball team.

Paige Johnson hit two more home runs, Morgan Arndt collected her 17th win and the Marauders extended their winning streak to 18 games.

Yeah things are going pretty well.

AVC had no problems with LA Valley College on Thursday with an easy 14-0 victory at LA Valley College.

Johnson was 2-for-3 with two home runs, six RBI and two runs scored. She extended her state leading RBI mark to 71. The next closest is 54. She also leads teh state with 14 home runs and could potentially break the school record for home runs in a season which currently sits at 17 by Adriana Perez, who plays for Mexico's national team.

Arndt, who ranks third in the state with 17 wins, only allowed four hits, while striking out seven.

Four AVC players had multiple hits including Dolly Stevens and Elise Moore, which both homered. Stevens is third in the state with 12 home runs.

AVC's two biggest games of the season come on Tuesday when they travel to College of the Canyons (24-6-1) for a double-header. The Marauders defeated the Cougars, 7-6, at home on March 16. AVC is currently holding on to a two-game lead over COC.
