Outstanding freshman Makayla Dorman was awarded All-conference Honors at the Camarillo Springs Golf Course after the conclusion of the conference finals. All-conference honors are reserved for the top 10 lowest season averages in conference play. Makayla finished in 7th place after the end of her freshman season.

"Makayla worked very hard on making improvements across all facets of the game this season, and receiving All-conference honors as a freshman should only inspire her to work harder.'' said head coach Patrick Londono.

Makayla finished conference play with a season-low 83 on a very challenging Camarillo Springs golf course, which resulted in her climbing three places in the conference standings.

"Makayla is just scratching the surface of her potential, and I look forward to seeing what the future has in store," Londono added.

Next up, Makayla and the Women's golf team will be competing in the Southern California Regionals on November 10th and 11th at Via Verde Country Club.
