SANTA BARBARA - The Marauder women's soccer team's season came to an end after it was defeated by No. 1 seeded Santa Barbara, 4-0, in the second round of the regional playoffs at Santa Barbara City College.

The Vaqueros' defense was stingy as they only allowed four shots the entire match to AVC. Santa Barbara, which has won 18 matches in a row, finished with 20 shots.

The Vaqueros scored two goals in the first half by Lourdes Gilbert and added two more in the second. The Marauders finished their season with a 10-6-4 record.
