MARAUDERS FIGHT HARD BUT FALL TO SANTA MONICA

Women's Volleyball lost a tough conference battle at home to the Santa Monica Corsairs on Friday. 

AVC came out with plenty of energy, winning the first set 25-14, but then dropped the next three, 19-25, 21-25, and 20-25, to lose the match 1-3.

Alysa Hughbanks had a team-high 11 kills to go along with 16 digs and four aces. Maggie Rafferty had nine kills, while Kassandra Tejeda had seven kills and three blocks. Vanessa Fletes recorded a team-high 24 assists, and Audrey Shull had a season-high 28 digs. Rhiannon Romero had 10 assists, three aces, and eight digs, while Lizette Hidalgo contributed 13 digs.

AVC will play their final regular-season home game on Wednesday, 11/10, against West LA at 6:00 pm.
