BAKERSFIELD - Mariah Theologidy had her best result of the season by finishing second on Friday at the Bakersfield Invitational.
Theologidy finished with a time of 18:44.00 just behind Oxnard College's Briana Valencia who finished first in 18:35.00. Theologidy, Valencia and Moorpark College's Emma Player (18:56.00) were the only three runners to break the 19-minute mark.
Theologidy was the only runner to compete in the meet. So far this season she has placed fifth in Oxnard and fourth in Santa Clarita.
Ventura College won the overall team event, followed by Oxnard and Bakersfield College.
