Marauder Football captured a 24-7 win over the Victor Valley Rams on the road on Saturday.
AVC was led by Amir Bankhead, who rushed for 103 yards on 19 carries with a touchdown. Que Allen recorded his first touchdown of the season while carrying the ball 11 times for 85 yards. Robinson Reece also scored on the ground, while Warren Daryos went 17-26 with 119 yards in the air. John Henderson added a 15-yard field goal and was 3-3 on PATs for the day.
Doron Mitchell had a team-high 6 tackles, while Gannon Ginnis and RB Wilson V each had a forced fumble and recovery and 4 tackles apiece.
The Marauders are now 1-2 and will host Pasadena City this Saturday, Sept. 24 at 6:00 pm.
