Antelope Valley delivered a dominant all-around performance in a 58–17 win over College of the Desert. The Marauders jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, opening the game with a 7-yard touchdown pass from Jamal Sullivan to Damario Jackson in the first quarter. The second quarter saw AVC explode for 15 points, highlighted by a 58-yard touchdown run from Jackson and a 63-yard scoring pass from Sullivan to Darrell Stanley. By halftime, the Marauders were in complete control with a 22-0 lead.
Antelope Valley's offense continued to roll in the third quarter with a 32-yard and a 12-yard touchdown run by Isaiah Morgan, followed by a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown from Azim Bankhead that electrified the home crowd. In the final quarter, Jaden Graham added a 20-yard rushing touchdown before quarterback Jacob Bryant connected with Darrell Stanley on a 47-yard score to seal the blowout win.
The Marauders' offense was firing on all cylinders, racking up 480 total yards—321 on the ground and 159 through the air. Isaiah Morgan led the rushing attack with 110 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries, while Jackson added 119 yards and another score on seven carries. Sullivan threw for 78 yards and two touchdowns, spreading the ball efficiently among his playmakers. Stanley was a standout through the air, hauling in both of Sullivan's touchdown passes and recording 110 yards receiving.
Defensively, Antelope Valley held Desert to 302 total yards and just 88 rushing yards. Despite two touchdowns, the Roadrunners were unable to find a consistent rhythm against a tough Marauder defense. Jayden Carrillo and Derrick Sterling had 7 tackles each, while Carrillo recorded 3 sacks on the day.
Overall, the Marauders' balanced offense, big-play ability, and defensive discipline proved too much for the Roadrunners. The Marauders improved to 8-1 on the season and will have a final regular-season matchup at Compton College on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1:00 pm.
