Bio

Randy Clemons Jr. is a dedicated football coach and former collegiate athlete with a passion for player development and program growth. A 2018 graduate of Quartz Hill High School, Clemons was a three-time All-Golden League tight end, two-time All-CIF selection, and 3rd Team All-State utility player, helping lead Quartz Hill to a CIF Championship his senior year.

He began his collegiate career at College of the Canyons under Coach Ted Iacenda before earning a scholarship to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. At Tarleton, Clemons was part of the program’s first Division I recruiting class and competed in a nationally ranked Top 25 FCS program. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Tarleton before completing his playing career at Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania, where he also began work on his master’s degree.

Following his playing career, Clemons transitioned into coaching. In 2024, he returned to his alma mater, Quartz Hill High School, as the offensive line and tight ends coach before joining the staff at Antelope Valley College as tight ends coach in 2025. With a strong background as a versatile multi-position athlete and collegiate competitor, Clemons brings energy, experience, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

Beyond football, he is a proud father to his son, Dominic Apollo Clemons, born March 16, 2024.
