GLENDALE - D'Mauria Jones scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds, but it was not enough as the Marauder men's basketball team fell to Glendale, 82-78, and with it almost washed away any chance of the playoffs, Saturday evening.
AVC now has a 16-14 record and must hope that it gets in the playoffs. If not, it would end the Marauders' 11-year run for consecutive playoff appearances.
The Marauders led 30-29 after the first half but was outscored 53-48 in the second.
