AVC Men's Soccer picked up their second win of the season with a 4-3 win over College of the Desert.
Jayden Denham scored 3 first-half goals with assists from Hugo Santana (2) and Adrian Mota (1). The Marauders gave up the next two scores, but never trailed in the contest as Jamel Peevy scored AVC's fourth goal at the 57-minute mark in the second half.
The Marauders finished with a slight edge in total shots (18-17), but goalie Oscar Flores recorded 7 saves on the day for Antelope Valley.
AVC is now 2-2 on the season and will play Norco on the road before returning home to face Alan Hancock on Sept. 9 at 5:00 pm.
