AVC Men's Soccer lost a conference match 3-0 to the Santa Monica Corsairs on Friday. The Marauders had opportunities but couldn't convert any of them into scores. Meanwhile, after a scoreless first half, the Corsairs found the net three times in the second half.
Oscar Flores recorded four saves as the loss moves AVC to 1-1 in conference and 4-7-2 overall. The Marauders will seek to keep pace in the Western State-South Conference as they travel to Glendale, Citrus, and Canyons, before returning home to face Bakersfield on Oct. 31.
