Marauder Men's Volleyball picked up a 3-1 win over Palomar before falling 3-0 to Orange Coast College and 3-0 to Santiago Canyon.
The non-conference victory over the Comets marked the first win for the Marauders, who are 1-7 on the season. Sir-Gavin Epps and Jathan McNair led with 9 kills each in the win. David Buckley had a game-high 8 digs to go along with 8 kills and 3 service aces. Buckley leads the team in kills on the season with 65, followed by McNair, who has 42. Johnny Diaz had 24 assists, while Jaymar Mones had 5 digs.
Antelope Valley totalled 19 kills in the loss to Orange Coast (25-14, 25-9, 25-17) and 29 kills in the loss to Santiago Canyon (25-19, 25-18, 25-19).
The Marauders will next face El Camino College in a non-conference matchup on Feb. 25th at AVC.
