MARAUDERS SOFTBALL SEASON ENDS WITH LOSS TO PALOMAR IN SUPER REGIONALS
AVC Softball saw their season come to an end this past weekend with two losses to Palomar 5-4, and 8-0.

AVC Softball saw their season come to an end this past weekend with two losses to Palomar 5-4, and 8-0.
The Marauders kept it close in game 1 losing by just one point. Alyssa Tami provided most of the offense with a 2 RBI HR in the 3rd inning. She then tripled in the 7th inning to score Rosie Marquez. Tami finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs. AVC score to come within one off an error by Palomar but they weren't able to score again and force extra innings.
AVC fell behind in game 2 and was just not able to generate any offense. Although they had five hits, they couldn't bring any runners home. Both Kaitlyn Cronin and Isabelle Gomez finished 2-for-3 in the 8-0 loss.
The Marauders finished 33-11 on the season.
