Malika Jackson enters her eighth season with the Marauders Women’s Basketball Program, bringing a deep passion for the game and a strong commitment to mentoring the next generation of athletes. She plays a vital role in recruiting, player development, and film analysis, helping prepare student-athletes for success on and off the court. Her love for the community and dedication to youth development have left a lasting impact on players throughout the Antelope Valley and beyond. Jackson remains an influential figure in the local basketball community, continuing to train and guide athletes striving to reach the next level of competition.

Before joining the Marauders, Jackson served as an assistant coach with NCAA Division II Texas A&M International University, where she was responsible for recruiting, practice planning, film breakdown, and player mentorship.

Jackson also enjoyed an exceptional professional career in Melbourne, Australia, where she dominated the Big V league for five seasons. She captured three scoring titles, earned Big V Top 5 honors four times, won league MVP and a championship, and was named one of the Top 20 Imports of the Decade, cementing her legacy as one of the league’s most electrifying players.

As a collegiate standout, Jackson led Texas A&M International to a program-best 19–9 record and its first NCAA Division II National Tournament appearance in 2013–14, becoming the university’s first women’s basketball All-American. Averaging 16.4 points and 9.1 rebounds as a senior, she collected numerous honors, including All-Heartland Conference First Team, All-South Central Regional Team, and Team MVP. Her blend of athletic excellence, leadership, and passion continues to inspire both her players and the broader basketball community.
