MARAUDERS CLOSE OUT REGULAR SEASON AT WSC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Antelope Valley College closed out the regular season at Western States Conference Championships with a two-round team score of 927. The players showed determination, growth, and steady effort throughout the two-day event against a strong conference field.
Hayden Hazard led AVC with rounds of 102 and 110 (212 total). She played with confidence and consistency, finishing the regular season as one of the team's most dependable performers.
Grace Gelfound followed closely with two rounds of 107 and 107 (214), demonstrating poise and balance throughout. Joelle Hanon posted scores of 110 and 123 (233), continuing to show perseverance and growth while gaining valuable multi-round tournament experience.
Alayna Hottya posted rounds of 128 and 142 (270), maintaining a positive attitude and continuing to gain valuable tournament experience. Alyssa Lara recorded scores of 130 and 140 (270), showing perseverance and steady effort throughout the event.
In the overall final conference standings, College of the Canyons (718) earned first place, followed by Allan Hancock College (719), Santa Barbara City College (764), Moorpark College (775), Bakersfield College (800), Antelope Valley College (927), and Citrus College (972).
AVC Women's Golf will be playing in the SoCal Championships, held at Olivas Links Golf Course in Ventura on the 9th-10th of November.
