Marauder Women's Soccer won a home match-up against Oxnard College on Friday. AVC picked up their third win of the season in convincing fashion with a 7-0 score. They dominated the action as six different Marauders recorded goals. Freshman midfielder Megan Salvesvold led the way with two goals and 2 assists. Paola Figueroa had a team-high 3 assists, while Brianna Ortega, Emily Serrano, Kelsey Brustuen, Grace Crees, and Brenda Murillo all recorded goals.
Cassi James had 2 assists and leads the Marauders on the season with 7. AVC totaled a massive 34 shots with 21 on goal while holding the Condors to 0 shots.
Antelope Valley will look to take their momentum into their first conference match on Tuesday at Bakersfield. They will return home on Friday, Sept. 30, to host LA Valley.
