AVC Women's Volleyball lost a hard-fought conference battle against College of the Canyons 3-1. AVC dropped the first two sets 25-17, 25-20 and bounced back to win the third set 25-19, before losing the final set 25-18.
Kalilah Laulile tied the game-high for kills with 13, followed by Morgan Holman, who had 9. Rubi Reyes, Cecilia Foster, and Riley Ewing had 5 kills each. Reyes also recorded 9 digs.
Avery Mattice led all players with 29 assists, while Sara Herrera Quintero had a team-high 10 digs.
The Marauders are now 12-4 (3-3 in conference) and will next host Citrus College on Friday, Oct. 24, at 6:00 pm.
