KRYSTAL QUINN
Krystal Quinn made an impressive debut by breaking the Antelope Valley College 400-meter dash record the very first time she stepped onto the track wearing a Marauder uniform. Over the course of her two years with the team, she broke that record seven times. In addition to her individual achievements, she won back-to-back Foothill Conference individual championships, finishing seventh in the state in 2005 and becoming the State Champion in 2006.
During the 2006 season, Quinn was a key member of two conference championship relay teams that set school records: the 4x400 meter and the 4x100 meter relays. She also won the pole vault championship, earning her the accolade of Foothill Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Year.
Quinn competed in three state championships. In 2005, she placed fifth in the state pole vault, and in 2006, she ran on relay teams that finished fifth in the 4x400 relay and seventh in the 4x100 relay.
Krystal graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate of Arts degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences, achieving a 3.62 grade point average. That same year, she was honored as the AVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was also recognized on the state Scholar-Athlete Award rolls.
